Joshua Barnett is 15 years old, fly fishing and tying for the better part
of his life so far, resides in Northern Georgia; just 45 minutes from the state's trout country. Having grown up, so
far, in a rural community fishing has always been a family pastime. Whether at the lake fishing for bass and bluegill,
and even catfish or on the beautiful trout streams in search of native trout Joshua is a true fly fisherman.

also serves as a Danica Fly Tier for Hans Weilemann. Joshua is also a fly tying member of several fly tying teams.
Joshua won the 2003 Georgia Youth Fly Tying Contest, after announcing his saltwater fly Joshes Big Boy. Joshua works
on a local farm boasting 150 acres.
Joshua has also completed several fly tying courses through fly tying instructors
of world renown. Joshua has studied fly tying techniques under the wing of tiers such as Dave Whitlock, Rick Lubrant,
